Monroe County Schools will have a NTID day for Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Students will complete snow packet #5 and employees only report on a 2-hour delay. Any student who needs assistance with their assignments may contact their teacher at school after 10:30 am.

Monroe County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Every PES student received a gift today from communities in schools! 416 gifts in total! 🎄🎅🏻❄️



Monroe County Schools will be closed for students from December 20th until January 3rd. Students will return on January 6th. We hope everyone has a safe and restful break!


PES 4th graders “Ran with the Herd”. They have been participating in a 5 weeks program that centers around goal setting, sportmanship, and being a good team mate. Today, they were able to attend a basketball game at Marshall University.
