2024 WVGSA Student Assessment Results Available in Online Family Portal
Student assessment results for the 2024 West Virginia General Summative Assessment are now available in the online Family Portal.
Counties and schools will provide a unique access code for each student who took the WVGSA in grades 3-8. This code will allow students and their parents/guardians to access student test results by logging into the online Family Portal.
The Family Portal will provide better access to student test results for parents/guardians. It will include detailed information about student performance in math, English language arts, and science, as well as access to Lexile and Quantile measures and the Lexile/Quantile Growth Plan.
Additional resources to help explain student performance and to help parents and guardians provide support to their students will be included.
To further assist parents/guardians in understanding their student’s performance on the WVGSA, in addition to the results provided in the Family Portal, an individual video score report also is available. Counties and schools will provide a unique link to each student’s video report.
If parents and guardians need help in accessing the family portal or the video score report, they may contact their child’s school. The information has been pushed through student emails. Those email addresses have been provided to the schools. If you have any questions, you can contact Bobbie Tuggle (btuggle@k12.wv.us) County Testing Coordinator.

PES LSIC Meeting will be on September 24th at 4:30.
Meeting agenda:
Watch the training video.
Give members policy code 18-5a-c and review,

Are you wondering if your child has their required immunizations for the upcoming school year? Do you have medical records that need to be sent in for the nurse? Are you wondering if your child's medical order has been received yet? You can address these concerns in one location, your student's health portal. If you have not signed up, make sure to do so! This will also allow you to monitor when your child sees the nurse and the expiration date of medications they have at school. If you have not received the registration email, reach out to the County School Nurse Jessica Thomas at (304)772-3094 ext. 322 or by email to jessica.r.thomas@k12.wv.us with your child's name, their school, and email address that you wish to use. All emails will come from noreply@studentehr.com Please search your inbox for that prior to contacting the nurse as this is the only way to register.

Emergency Board of Education Meeting on Monday, June 17th at 7:45 a.m.

PES had 5 students with perfect attendance for the year! Congrats to Zaiden Craft, Wyatt Ferguson, Allie Thompson, Walker Helvey, and Bronson Parker on their excellent attendance.

Avery Miller was named 3rd Grader of the year at PES by Monroe County Education Association! Congrats Avery!

PES third graders had a book camp out for their “field trip”. They built forts, had s’mores, and every student left with new books. They spent their day reading by the fake smart board fire and finding a new world to explore in a book.
